La República Federal de Alemania es uno de los donantes bilaterales más importantes y comprometidos con el trabajo el país latinoamericano.
● Como parte de los programas que llegan a Ecuador con el fin de incentivar el desarrollo sostenible, el Ministerio Federal deCooperación económica y desarrollo (BMZ), implementó Business Scouts For Development (BSFD), con el objetivo de desarrollar y establecer servicios sostenibles y vincularlos con el sector privado, en ese marco se trasladan iniciativas enfocadas en formación profesional, medioambiente y recursos naturales, cambio climático, energía y sociedades pacíficase inclusivas.
● En el marco del programa y para su ejecución, la AHK Ecuador abre las puertas a expertos de la iniciativa y genera un vínculo entre ellos y el sector privado ecuatoriano. Quito, marzo de 2023.- Alemania es un referente a escala mundial no solamente en aspectos de cooperación e intercambio experiencial, sino también en cuanto a la generación de programas y políticas que favorecen a la sociedad tanto local como internacional.
Como segundo mayor donante de cooperación oficial para el desarrollo y de socio activo en alianzas mundiales, el país germano desempeña un papel decisivo en el desarrollo mundial y global en los próximos años. En ese contexto, el Ministerio Federal de Cooperación Económica y Desarrollo (BMZ), a través de BSFD, desarrolla proyectos en sectores estratégicos y productivos del
país, como: educación, medioambiente, cadenas de suministro, prevención de violencia de género, bioseguridad, certificaciones en cursos especializados, herramientas digitales, turismo, energía, y sostenibilidad empresarial son solo algunas de las áreas en las que estos programas se llevan a cabo. Estas iniciativas se implementan de la mano de varias instituciones como asociaciones, ministerios, lasCámaras alemanas alrededor del mundo, entre otros.
En Ecuador, los programas que se llevan a cabo son: Business Scouts for Development (en alrededor de 40 países, que promueven la participación sostenible y responsable del sector privado, ponen a entidades en contacto con socios potenciales e inician proyectos de cooperación, y esto se da de la mano de las Cámaras alemanas de cada país); en proyectos como Cadenas de Suministro (con enfoque en materia de trazabilidad, marco legal y uso de tecnologías, se realizó un proceso de evaluación del  sector productivo- exportador ecuatoriano en las áreas de banano, cacao, camarón, atún, flores y frutas frescas); Turismo Comunitario Sostenible (enfocado en destinos turísticos, con el fin de desarrollar y pilotar cursos de formación respecto a la  sostenibilidad como ventaja competitiva dentro de la industria turística ecuatoriana y el sector público); Formación de docentes  (centra su aplicación en el ámbito de la Formación Dual para el desarrollo de competencias y aptitudes pedagógicas del docente);  AHK Prevention (certificación empresarial para la prevención de violencia contra las mujeres en el mundo laboral);  Bioseguridad en sectores textil, calzado, transporte y banano (el objetivo principal del proyecto es generar un efecto positivo que surge luego de la pandemia de COVID-19 escapacitar y formar a empresarios y colaboradores de estos sectores para la reactivación económica de estos sectores); Orientación vocacional (para desarrollar una nueva herramienta digital que visibilice la definición  de los perfiles adecuados en las carreras profesionales; paneles solares (consiste en el desarrollo e introducción de una formación  continua orientada a la instalación de sistemas fotovoltaicos en Argentina, Ecuador y Paraguay, desarrollado en cooperación con la Sociedad Alemana de Energía Solar — DGS por sus siglas en alemán—); y por último, la ñ certificación de sostenibilidad  empresarial ISM 2.0 (con la finalidad de potenciar la eficiencia en gestión de la sostenibilidad de las empresa para responder y  anticiparse a los requisitos de los mercados y regulaciones nacionales e internacionales en temas ambientales, sociales,  económicos y de gobernanza). Además, existen otras cooperaciones internacionales (entre AHK´s y ONG´s, por ejemplo) mediante las que se han implementado otros proyectos estratégicos.
Las iniciativas, además de fortalecer la relación bilateral entre Ecuador y Alemania, se proyectan como oportunidades clave para el desarrollo comercial y económico del país, y para ello la Cámara de Industrias y Comercio Ecuatoriano-Alemana cuenta con un comprometido y fuerte equipo de profesionales dispuesto a ofrecer apoyo permanente en las áreas de acción de estos proyectos.
El acceso a programas de talla internacional optimiza la capacidad de desarrollo de los sectores productivos, incrementando la competitividad y fortaleciendo el trabajo en cada una de sus áreas de especialidad.
