Tener una mayor capacidad de sepultamiento y brindar mejores servicios a la ciudadanía, son algunos de los objetivos de EMUCE EP y el Cementerio Patrimonial de Cuenca para este año durante la administración del Alcalde de la Ciudad, Ing. Pedro Palacios Ullauri.
Para el efecto se construye alrededor de 500 nuevas unidades de sepultamiento entre nichos y bóvedas, además de la adecuación de la Plazoleta Albor.
De las 500 unidades proyectadas, 240 ya están concluidas, 110 corresponden a bóvedas e igual número a nichos, informó, Wolfram Palacio, Gerente General de la EMUCE EP.
Agregó que se realiza la construcción de 80 nichos ubicados en el sector F3 y en el sector K3, espacio anteriormente destinado sólo para túmulos, donde ahora se construyen 144 nichos.
Ampliación
El Gerente de la EMUCE, comentó que dentro de la planificación de la construcción de la plazoleta Albor, se analizó la posibilidad de construir el en sector K3, utilizando los niveles existentes, 56 nichos adicionales más, favoreciendo a la empresa y sobre todo a los usuarios.
El funcionario, recordó que durante esta pandemia la atención ha sido permanente y se ha velado por la seguridad y bienestar de la ciudadanía, cuidando de todas las instalaciones del Cementerio Patrimonial de Cuenca.
