Acciones preventivas de seguridad coordinadas por la Alcaldía de Cuenca.

La Alcaldía de Cuenca, a través del Consejo de Seguridad Ciudadana (CSC) y el Equipo Operativo Interinstitucional (EOI) realizaron múltiples operativos preventivos en seguridad durante esta semana, para fortalecer la seguridad y buena convivencia que promueve el Alcalde Pedro Palacios.

La coordinación interinstitucional oportuna permitió dar cumplimiento a los objetivos de estas acciones preventivas como precautelar la seguridad de la ciudadanía cuencana. Así también, reforzar las recomendaciones y control del cumplimiento de las medidas de bioseguridad, buen uso del espacio público, permisos de funcionamiento, entre otros.

 En lo que va del año se coordinaron y ejecutaron aproximadamente 60 operativos interinstitucionales. Más de 16 en la última semana, en los sectores: calle Héroes de Verdeloma y Mariano Cueva; Av. 24 de Mayo; Redondel José Peralta y sector Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso; Av. Remigio Crespo.

En los sectores: Turi, Cazhapata, Control Sur, Mall del Río, Narancay Alto, sector del Estadio, parques La Paz y Luis Alarcón.

En el Mercado 9 de Octubre, diferentes locales en el centro histórico, y un múltiple operativo en la Universidad de Cuenca, durante las votaciones para elección de nuevas autoridades.

La Guardia Ciudadana revisó 20 puestos de ventas, 30 llamados de atención por mal uso de mascarilla, 2 citaciones por no uso de mascarilla, 7 botellas con alcohol sin registro sanitario. Además, procedieron a retirar a varias personas aglomeradas en los parques, y el control de ingreso de los estudiantes a la Universidad de Cuenca durante las votaciones para elección de autoridades con el objetivo de mantener las medidas de bioseguridad.

Por parte de la EMOV EP revisaron que esté en regla la documentación de 85 motocicletas, 60 vehículos y sus respectivos conductores. Extendieron 14 citaciones;  2 retenciones motos, incluido la retención de un vehículo la noche de este sábado por evadir control y no presentar documentos.

La Dirección de Áreas Históricas clausuró un local en las calles Gran Colombia y Mariano Cueva, por mal uso del permiso de funcionamiento e incumplir lo dispuesto en la ordenanza que regula las medidas temporales de prevención del COVID-19, como prohibición de apertura de bares y discotecas sin previa autorización por parte del COE Cantonal.

El CSC coordinó estas acciones y brindó un soporte visual mediante la Unidad Móvil; así como, la colocación de un remolque para facilitar la ejecución de las acciones preventivas coordinadas.

Froilán Salinas, Director Ejecutivo del CSC manifestó que los operativos se desarrollan en función de fortalecer el principio de seguridad humana en el cantón Cuenca siendo un eje las acciones de control y reacción en los eventos que se den dentro del cantón.

 “Los operativos no han estado destinados solo a seguridad, criminalidad y violencia sino también a un apoyo al protocolo de bioseguridad como en la Universidad de Cuenca. Además, se fortalece el seguimiento y la vinculación comunitaria desde la Sala de monitoreo y alarmas comunitarias”, enfatizó Salinas.

Es así que, desde la Sala de Monitoreo del CSC como refiere Salinas, se apoya a la seguridad de la ciudadanía cuencana mediante el monitoreo y alerta de diferentes incidencias que se observan en los espacios públicos, por medio de las 195 cámaras de video vigilancia.

Durante esta última semana se identificaron 298 incidencias, siendo éstas: 116 libadores, 90 ventas informales, 15 personas haciendo mal uso del espacio público, 14 personas en estado etílico, 13 Soportes visuales en operativos interinstitucionales, entre otros. Incidencias que fueron resueltas con el apoyo de las diferentes instituciones de acuerdo a sus competencias en relación al Orden, Seguridad y Control.

La prevención es trabajo de todos.
